I’ll be heading off to California this week and next, visiting the San Francisco/Monterey area. It’s my first trip out to the area and I look forward to seeing some of the oceanic sights on the west coast and sharing them with you.
Current plans are to visit the Coral Reef Alliance, Aquarium of the Bay and the California Academy of Sciences. I’ll probably also get a chance to see the new Transformers movie at the fabled Metreon and do other some new media stuff.
Next week is the National Marine Educators Association conference where I’ll be co-presenting a session with Rick MacPherson on the uses of social media in marine education.
